Delete your Renty360 account.
You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and what the law requires us to keep.

01From the Renty360 app

- Open the Renty360 app and sign in.
- Tap the menu, then Settings.
- Tap Delete account. This opens this page.
- Fill in the deletion request form at the top of this page.
Tenants
- Open the Renty360 app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Under Account, tap Delete account. This opens this page.
- Fill in the deletion request form at the top of this page.
Don't have the app to hand? You can fill in the form from any browser.
02How to request deletion
- Fill in the deletion request form with your full name and the phone number you use to sign in. Add your email address if your account has one.
- We confirm the request is yours with a one-time code sent to your phone or email. We do this so nobody else can delete your account.
- We delete the account within 30 days and let you know when it is done.
Can't use the form? Email privacy@renty360.com with the same details instead.
03What we delete
- Your profile: name, phone number, email address and password.
- Your login sessions and app settings.
- Maintenance requests, photos and messages you created.
- For landlords: your properties, units, tenant records and reports, once any legally required records have been separated out (see below).
- Marketing preferences. We also stop sending you any SMS or email.
04What we keep, and for how long
- Payment, invoice and receipt records: kept for 5 years from the date of the transaction, as required by the Kenya Tax Procedures Act. We keep them locked and use them for nothing else.
- Backups: deleted data can remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before it is overwritten.
- Security logs: kept for up to 12 months to protect against fraud and abuse.
Once these periods end, the data is deleted permanently.
05If you are a tenant
Deleting your tenant account removes your login and app access. Your landlord keeps their own records of your tenancy and payments, because they need them to run their business. To have those records deleted, ask your landlord. You can also email privacy@renty360.com and we will pass your request on to them.
06If you are a landlord
Before you request deletion, export any records you want to keep, such as invoices, receipts and reports. Deleting a landlord account also removes your tenants' access to that property in Renty360. Cancel any paid plan first. Deleting your account stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period.
07Deleting some data without closing your account
You can ask us to delete specific data, such as photos or old maintenance requests, without closing your account. Email privacy@renty360.com and tell us what you want removed. Our Privacy Policy explains all your data rights.
