The ground rules.

01Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Renty360 Ltd, a company based in Nairobi, Kenya. They apply whenever you use our website, web app or mobile apps (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you use Renty360 on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

02Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything done through your account.
• Tell us straight away at info@renty360.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

03Using the Service

Renty360 helps landlords manage properties, tenants, invoices, payments and maintenance. You agree not to:

• break any law, or use the Service for fraud or money laundering;
• upload data about other people unless you have the right to do so;
• try to access accounts or data that are not yours, or interfere with the Service's security;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service.

Landlords are responsible for the tenant information they add, for having a lawful basis to process it, and for their tenancy agreements. Renty360 is a software tool. We are not a party to any tenancy, and we are not a landlord, agent, bank or payment service provider.

04Rent payments via M-Pesa

Rent payments go directly through Safaricom M-Pesa, using the paybill or till number configured by the landlord. Renty360 does not hold tenants' funds. We record and reconcile payments based on the confirmations Safaricom sends us. Safaricom's own terms apply to every M-Pesa transaction, and disputes about a transaction should go to Safaricom or the landlord.

05Subscription fees

• Landlord plans and prices are listed on our pricing page. Using Renty360 as a tenant is free.
• Paid plans are billed in advance for each billing period. Unless we say otherwise, prices include applicable taxes.
• You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund partial periods unless the law requires it.
• We will give you at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of your plan.

06Your data

You own the data you put into Renty360. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. You can export your data at any time while your account is active.

07Availability and changes

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Maintenance, Safaricom outages or other events outside our control may interrupt it. We may add, change or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance.

08Ending your account

You can close your account at any time. See how to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.

09Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, Renty360 is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or rent, or for disputes between landlords and tenants.

Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it with you informally. If that does not work, the courts of Kenya will have jurisdiction.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we will tell you at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new terms.
